NYDA Believes in Youth Potential in SA

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) Executive Deputy Chairperson, Bonga Makhanya, spoke at the Connect Youth in Dialogue hosted by Standard Bank and A Seat at the Table, challenged the perception that young people are disengaged. Makhanya said: “Young people are not waiting for opportunity, they are already participating in the economy, creating, innovating and leading. The real challenge is ensuring that systems transform effort into opportunity, participation into ownership, and potential into meaningful progress for young people.”
