Woodhurst Secondary School pupils are invited to attend an extravagant evening catching up in October.
The spirit of Woodhurst will come alive once again when former pupils from across generations gather for the Woodhurst Secondary School All-Era Alumni Reunion Gala 2026 – an evening dedicated to friendship, memories and giving back to the school that brought them together.
An invite for all former Woodhurst learners
Taking place on Saturday, 31 October 2026, from 6pm until late at the Child Welfare Hall in Chatsworth, the gala carries the fitting theme “Together Again”. Alumni are invited to dress in evening wear or formal attire and prepare for a night of celebration, laughter, music, dancing and reconnection.
The evening will feature Bash with Tash as MC, bringing comedy and entertainment to a gala dinner designed to bring together Woodhurst alumni from every era.

This reunion is about more than looking back. It is also an opportunity for former learners to invest in the future of their alma mater.
Following a recent visit to Woodhurst Secondary School, alumni organizers identified several areas requiring urgent attention. Part of the funds raised through ticket sales, together with additional donations, will go towards supporting much-needed school improvements.
Much needed upgrades
These include upgrading the sports field and netball court, purchasing essential desks and chairs, improving learner and educator ablution facilities, and acquiring photocopier machines and computers. Funding will also assist with roof cleaning to remove vegetation that is compromising roof stability, completing the steel structure in the assembly area to create a fully-fledged hall, and rebuilding the tennis court.
For organizers, the fundraising drive is a chance for former Woodhurst learners to turn cherished memories into meaningful action.

“One Night. Countless Memories. The Legacy Lives On” captures the spirit of the occasion – celebrating where alumni came from while helping create better opportunities for the learners who are there today.
Tickets are R350 per person and include the gala dinner, live entertainment, music, dancing and comedy.
