The opening of the latest application period highlights the province’s continued focus on creating opportunities through youth entrepreneurship. For young people with business ambitions, access to programmes such as the PYDF can provide a pathway to seek support while developing their enterprises.

Encouraging youth to bloom

Youth empowerment is an important part of building an economy in which young people can participate not only as job seekers, but also as entrepreneurs and contributors to economic activity. By encouraging young people to pursue business opportunities, initiatives such as the PYDF place entrepreneurship among the options available to the province’s younger generation.
